Operation at high acceleration/deceleration is enabled by Makino’s rotary table (DD motors for the B and C axes). In addition, wide-area can be machined, thanks to the structure to prevent interference between spindle and table. The productivity, especially of complicated geometry parts such as aircraft jet engine blisk, inducer and impeller, is improved.
